In this role, you bridge platform capabilities and day-to-day product use in a complex engineering environment within the defense industry. You will help bring shared building blocks into live product contexts, adapt them to real needs, and feed what you learn back into the platform so it keeps evolving. The work is done close to business unit teams, which means you influence both the technical solution and how it is adopted in practice. This role is especially interesting if you enjoy combining hands-on engineering with system-level thinking in an environment where reusable platforms, performance, and long-term technical direction truly matter.

• You will design, improve, and evolve shared software platforms used across the organization.
• You will analyze system behavior, performance, and interactions to identify practical improvements.
• You will implement and operationalize solutions in real product environments rather than isolated prototypes.
• You will improve the surrounding technical ecosystem, including tooling, delivery flow, and system engineering practices.
• You will work with cloud technologies, distributed systems, real-time environments, and AI-related solutions where relevant.
• You will turn system-level insights into changes that strengthen scalability, usability, and technical quality.
• You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, domain experts, and business unit teams to shape solutions together.
• You will contribute to shared components, modular architecture assets, and other reusable capabilities that can scale across teams.
• You will share knowledge through day-to-day collaboration, demos, and technical discussions, while helping teams build their own capability.
• You will help shape long-term technical direction and platform strategy based on what works in practice.

• Strong software engineering background.
• Experience with cloud, CI/CD, and modular architecture.
• Ability to analyze system behavior, performance, and technical interactions at a broader system level.
• Experience working hands-on with implementation and operationalization in product environments.
• A pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working.
• Ability to collaborate closely with technical teams and create structure and direction in complex environments.

• Exposure to data or AI.
• Experience from distributed systems or real-time environments.
